Abstract: EPA IS STUDYING ANTIMICROBIALS USED TO CLEAN AND DISINFECT HOSPITALS. THE AGENCY WILL USE THE STUDY RESULTS IN REGISTRATION DECISIONS, SPECIAL REVIEWS OF PROBLEM PESTICIDES, EMERGENCY EXEMPTIONS, AND REGISTRATION STANDARDS FOR CHEMICALS SUBJECT TO RE-REGISTRATION.
