Abstract: EPA WILL COLLECT DEMOGRAPHIC DATA AND INCIDENCE OF ACUTE ILLNESSES/ INFECTIONS FROM VOLUNTEERS WHO USE GRANULAR ACTIVATED CARBON (GAC) FILTERS. THIS STUDY TESTS THE HYPOTHESIS THAT DRINKING WATER PASSED THROUGH GAC FILTERS HAS A FAVORABLE EFFECT ON THE HUMAN HEALTH.
