Abstract: EIA-758(A) AND (B) COLLECT DATA ON NATURAL GAS SALES CONTRACTS, SPECIFICALLY INCLUDING PRICING AND TAKE-OR-PAY CLAUSES, PREPAYMENT LIABILITIES AND RENEGOTIATION HISTORY. DATA ARE NEEDED TO PERMIT EIA TO CONTINUE TO PROVIDE THE CONGRESS AND THE PUBLIC WITH ADEQUATE INFORMATION. THESE DATA WILL BE PUBLISHED IN AN ANALYSIS OF CONTRACT ISSUES. RESPONDENTS ARE PRODUCERS, INTER- AND INTRASTATE PIPELINES AND INDUSTRIAL BUYERS OF NATURAL GAS.
