Terms of Clearance: The following are questions EPA should address during its consideration of comments received on the proposed rule. What information will a permit applicant be required to submit to justify an alternative insurance limit. Could the applicant combine self and external insurance to satisfy the requirement, if so, what information would EPA require? If several incinerator ships or companies operate out of the same ports can they share much of the information in a contingency plan? Can a port have a preprepared plan (containing emergency numbers, etc.) that is then modified to match any permittee specific requirements? What specifically will EPA do with the waste analyses and monitoring data it receives. How will the trial burn plan be evaluated? This information collection request is disapproved pending EPAs response to these questions during the final rulemaking.
