Abstract: CFR 412.118(D) REVISES THE WAY HOSPITALS ARE PAID FOR INDIRECT MEDICAL EDUCATION COSTS BASED ON HOURS WORKED BY INTERNS AND RESIDENTS. SECTION 2405.3 OF THE PROVIDER REIMBURSEMENT MANUAL DESCRIBES THE FORM THE HOSPITALS MUST USE IN SUBMITTING THE HOURS WORKED BY INTERNS AND RESIDENTS.
