Abstract: WE ARE REQUESTING EOMB APPROVAL OF INFORMATION COLLECTION REQUIREMENTS CONTAINED IN THE PROPOSED HCFA REGULATION, BERC 321-P, INCOME AND ELIGIBILITY VERIFICATION SYSTEM. THIS REGULATION REQUIRES STATE MEDICAID AGENCIES TO OBTAIN AND VERIFY APPLICANT/RECIPIENTS SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBERS AND TO OBTAIN AND EXCHANGE INFORMATION WITH OTHER STA AND FEDERAL AGENCIES.
