Approval is
subject to the followng agreement by MMS: 1) Approval rules
revising applicable OCS ordes and regulations to reduce duplicat
information requirements and the information collection burden will
be published in the Federal Register by November 15, 1985. 2) MMS
will clarify information collection policies about the two subjects
listed below through policy statemens or rulemakings by May 15,
1986. a) Lessees may provide the manufacturers name, the model
number, and the model year of standardized equipment in lieu of
specifications and descriptions for such standardized items. b)
Lessees may reference information from previously submitted
documents that are readily available to the Minerals Management
Services and State reviewing agencies in response to this request
for information to avoid duplication of the information.
Information in the exploration plans and the development and
production plans may offer substantial opportunities for these
reference.
