OPERATORS TO SUBMIT TO MSHA FOR APPROVA A PLAN FOR THE INSTRUCTION
OF MINERS IN FIREFIGHTING AND EVACUATION PROCEDURES TO BE FOLLOWED
IN EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY. THE STANDARD ALSO REQUIRES FIRE DRILLS TO
BE CONDUCTED QUARTERLY TO IMPLEMENT THE PLAN AND THAT A RECORD BE
KEPT OF THE FIRE DRILLS.
