Abstract: ATF F 96 IS COMPLETED BY IMPORTERS OF DISTILLED SPIRITS. THE REPORT PROVIDES ATF WITH AN ACCOUNTING OF THE STRIP STAMPS THAT AN IMPORTER HAS RECEIVED AND A MEANS OF DETECTING POSSIBLE UNAUTHORIZED USES OF THOSE STAMPS. STRIP STAMPS ARE AN ACCOUNTABLE ITEM BECAUSE THEY EVIDENCE TAX DETERMINATION.
