Abstract: THE NATIONAL ENDOWMENT FOR THE HUMANITIES REQUIRES PERFORMANCE REPORTS FROM THE INDIVIDUAL RESEARCH SCHOLARS WHO RECEIVE GRANTS FOR TRAVEL TO RESEARCH COLLECTIONS. THESE REPORTS DOCUMENT THAT THE $500 AWARDS WERE PROPERLY SPENT AND PROVIDE NEH WITH THE INFORMATION NEEDED TO DEMONSTRATE TO CONGRESS AND THE OMB THAT THE PROGRAM CARRIED OUT THE AGENCY'S MANDATE TO PROMOTE RESEARCH IN THE HUMANITIES. ALSO CONTAINS PAYMENT INFO. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF NEH SUPPORT, FOREIGN TRAVEL.
