Abstract: USDA IS OWED $125 BILLION OF WHICH APPROXIMATELY $6 BILLION IS DELINQUENT. IT IS ANTICIPATED THAT THE DEBT COLLECTION PROVISIONS CONTAINED IN THIS INTERIM RULE, IN PARTICULAR THE ADMINISTRATIVE OFFSE PROVISION, WILL ENABLE USDA TO INCREASE COLLECTIONS AND DECREASE DELINQUENCIES BY $50 MILLION.
