Abstract: IN CERTAIN INSTANCES, THE SECRETARY OF AGRICULTURE IS REQUIRED BY LAW CANCEL INDEBTEDNESS ARISING FROM LOANS AND PAYMENTS MADE ON CREDIT TO FARMERS UNDER ACTS OF CONGRESS AND OTHER ENUMERATED PROGRAMS. THE INFORMATION ON THE ASCS-539 IS USED BY ASCS COUNTY OFFICES TO RECOMMEN CANCELLATION.
