Abstract: THIS EVALUATION WILL PROVIDE INFORMATION ON WHETHER LAW AND REGULATION ON CONFIDENTIALITY OF ALCOHOL/DRUG ABUSE PATIENT RECORDS RESULT IN IMPEDIMENTS TO REPORTING OF SUSPECTED CHILD ABUSE AND NEGLECT. THE STUDY WILL SURVEY STATE AGENCIES TO WHICH CHILD ABUSE IS REPORTED, ALCOHOL/DRUG ABUSE AGENCIES/PROGRAMS, AND MENTAL HEALTH AGENCIES PROGRAMS.
