Abstract: THE MARINE INCIDENT INFORMATION IS NEEDED TO BETTER DETERMINE THE POTENTIAL HAZARDS TO MARINE SAFETY PRIOR TO THEIR INVOLVEMENT IN AN ACCIDENT. THE INFORMATION WILL BE USED TO DEVELOP PREVENTIVE COUNTERMEASURES TO THOSE HAZARDS. THOSE RESPONSIBLE FOR OPERATING AND CONTROLLING VESSELS ARE THE GROUP AFFECTED BY THIS COLLECTION.
