PUBLIC LAW 97-446 AUTHORIZES DUTY-FREE
ENTRY OF SPACE MATERIALS INTO THE U.S. IF NASA CERTIFIES THAT THE
STATUTORY REQUIREMENTS ARE MET. INFORMATION FROM APPLICANTS
REQUESTING DUTY-FREE ENTRY IS NECESSARY TO DETERMINE WHETHER NASA
SHOULD CERITFY AND IF THE STATUTORY REQUIREMENT ARE MET.
