GOVERNMENTWIDE REGULATIONS ON ACQUISITION OF REAL PROPERTY AND
RELOCATION OF PERSONS THEREBY DISPLACED. FEDERAL AGENCIES AND STATE
AND LOCAL GOVERNMENTS MUST MAINTAIN RECORDS OF THEI ACQUISITION AND
DISPLACEMENT ACTIVITIES SUFFICIENT TO DEMONSTRATE COMPLIANCE WITH
THOSE REGULATIONS. AGENCIES MAY BE REQUIRED TO FILE REPORTS BASED
ON THE RECORDS EVERY 3 YEARS (OR MORE OFTEN FOR GOOD CAUSE) TO
PERMIT FEDERAL VERIFICATION OF COMPLIANCE.
