Abstract: THE REQUIREMENTS ARE TO ENSURE SAFE SHIPMENT OF BULK LIQUID HAZARDOUS CARGOES. THEY ARE USED TO DETERMINE THAT A TANKER MEETS PART 153 SAFE STANDARDS AND TO ENSURE THE VESSEL'S CREWMEMBERS HAVE THE INFORMATION NECESSARY TO OPERATE THE BARGES SAFELY. RESPONDENTS ARE PRINCIPALLY CHEMIKAL TANKER OPERATORS.
