TO SPECIFIC SECTIONS OF THE ASME BOILER AND PRESSURE VESSEL CODE
THAT SET FORTH REQUIREMENTS BY WHICH NUCLEAR POWER PLANT COMPONENTS
ARE CONSTRUCTED AND INSPECTED. THESE REQUIRMENTS PROVIDE THAT PLANT
OWNERS MAINTAIN RECORDS OF CERTAIN SAFETY RELATED ACTIVITIES. THE
RECORDS CAN BE USED BY NRC TO AUDIT THE PERFORMANCE OF THESE
ACTIVITIES. THE RECORDKEEPING APPLIES TO THE OWNERS OF NUCLEAR
POWER PLANTS AND DOES NOT AFFECT THE GENERAL PUBLIC.
