THE PROPOSED REVISIONS TO 10 CFR PART
40 WOULD ELIMINATE REQUIREMENTS FOR LARGE-QUANTITIY SOURCE MATERIAL
LICENSEES TO SUBMIT INVENTORY REPORTS TO NRC. INSTEAD, LICENSEES
POSSESSING FOREIGN-ORIGIN SOURCE MATERIAL WOULD BE REQUIRED TO
VERIFY AN INVENTORY REPORT SENT TO THEM BY NRC, AND WOULD ONLY BE
REQUIRED TO RESPOND TO NRC IF CHANGES ARE REQUIRED.
