Abstract: THE WEIGHT-LOSS PRACTICES SURVEY WILL PROVIDE INFORMATION ABOUT THE PREVALANCE AND DISTRIBUTION OF SPECIFIC WEIGHT-LOSS PRACTICES BEING US BY INDIVIDUALS TRYING TO LOSE WEIGHT. INFORMATION IS NEEDED TO SUPPOR HEALTH PROMOTION INITIATIVES PLANNED BY FDA, NHLBI AND OTHER HHS AGENCIES TO MEET THE DEPARTMENT'S WEIGHT-LOSS NUTRITION OBJECTIVES.
