Abstract: SECTION 223 OF THE I&N ACT PROVIDES FOR THE ISSUANCE OF A PERMIT TO REENTER THE UNITED STATES TO AN ALIEN LAWFULLY ADMITTED TO THE UNITED STATES WHO INTENDS TO DEPART TEMPORARILY FROM THE UNITED STATES. DATA IS USED TO DETERMINE ELIGIBILITY FOR ISSUANCE OF THE PERMIT.
