Abstract: SECTION 6111 REQUIRES ORGANIZERS OF TAX SHELTERS TO REGISTER THE TAX SHELTER WITH THE INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE. SECTION 6111 ALSO REQUIRES PERSONS SELLING INTERESTS IN A TAX SHELTER TO FURNISH THE REGISTRATION NUMBER TO INVESTORS.
