Abstract: FORM EIA-3 COLLECTS INFORMATION ON COAL STOCKS, RECEIPTS, PRICES AND AMOUNTS CONSUMED. THE INFORMATION IS PUBLISHED IN THE QUARTERLY COAL REPORT AND THE ANNUAL REPORT TO CONGRESS. THE ECONOMIC REGULATORY ADMINISTRATION ALSO USES THE INFORMATION FOR CLASSIFYING MAJOR FUEL BURNING INSTALLATIONS UNDER THE POWERPLANT AND INDUSTRIAL FUEL USE ACT.
