Abstract: SECTION 74.433 REQUIRES THAT LICENSEES FOR REMOTE PICKUP STATIONS FILE AN INFORMATION WRITTEN REQUEST WITH FCC FOR SPECIAL TEMPORARY AUTHORIT TO OPERATE A REMOTE PICKUP STATION UNDER CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES. THIS REQUEST ASSURES THE COMMISSION THAT THE STATION WILL NOT CAUSE INTERFERENCE TO ESTABLISHED STATIONS.
