paragraph to the supporting statement clarifying that this ICR
covers the pre-HSWA collections. 2. Submit a schedule to OMB
identifying and seeking clearance on the delisting information
collections contained in the final codification rule. Currently,
there is no OMB clearance for the HSWA-mandated delisting
requirements 3. Send to OMB the draft guidance on implementing the
delisting requirments of the HSWA. 4. Before the final guidance is
distributed submit the guidance to OMB for review under E.O.
12291.

TOFILE A PETITION FOR DELISTING. INFORMATION IS NECESSARY TO
ESTABLISH THAT THE WASTE DOES NOT EXHIBIT THE CHARACTERISTICS FOR
WHICH IT WAS LISTED AND SO MAY BE EXEMPTED FROM REGULATION AS
HAZARDOUS. THE AGENCY REVIEWSTHIS INFORMATION TO DETERMINE WHETHER
TO GRANT OR DENY THE PETITION.
