Abstract: THE SURVEY COLLECTION PROVIDES ACCURATE INFORMATION ABOUT THE TYPES AN QUANTITIES OF FOODS AND SUPPLEMENTS CONSUMED DURING THE FIRST YEAR OF LIFE. THESE DATA ARE USED BY FDA FOR EVALUATING THE NUTRITIONAL QUALITY OF INFANT FOODS AND DIETS. THIS INFORMATION WILL BE USED TO DEVELOP POLICY WITH RESPECT TO NUTRITIONAL QUALITY GUIDELINES AND FORTIFICATION OF FOODS FOR INFANTS AND YOUNG CHILDREN.
