Abstract: THESE INFORMATION REQUIREMENTS SERVE AS THE SOLE SOURCE FOR VERIFICATI OF PLANS, MAINTENANCE, TESTING, AND OPERATOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR CRANES ON OUTER CONTINENTAL SHELF FACILITIES AND MOBILE OFFSHORE DRILLING UNITS. THIS INFORMATION COLLECTION WILL AFFECT THE PERSONS IN CHARGE THOSE FACILITIES AND UNITS AND WILL PROVIDE A WRITTEN RECORD FOR USE BY CRANE INSPECTORS, AND WILL FACILITATE POST-ACCIDENT INVESTIGATIVE ANALYSIS.
