Abstract: UNDER A RESEARCH PROJECT SPONSORED BY THE MARITIME ADMINISTRATION, A WATERWAY TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION SERVICE IS BEING DEVELOPED BY THE UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE. IN ORDER TO PROVIDE INDUSTRY STATISTICS FOR THE INFORMATION SERVICE, A WATERWAY OPERATOR SURVEY IS REQUIRED TO BE COMPLETED BY INLAND WATERWAY OPERATORS. THIS SURVEY WILL BE CONDUCTED ONE TIME ONLY.
