Abstract: THE NATIONAL SCIENCE FOUNDATION INITIATES AND SUPPORTS FUNDAMENTAL AND APPLIED RESEARCH IN ALL THE SCIENTIFIC DISCIPLINES, SCIENCE, EDUCATION AND RESEARCH POLICY.
