Abstract: NIEHS SEEKS INFORMATION ON THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE NUMBERS AND TYPES OF GRADUATES IN ENVIRONMENTAL TOXICOLOGY, AND THE CURRENT AND PROJECTED NEEDS OF INDUSTRY, ACADEMIA, AND GOVERNMENT. TOXICOLOGISTS ARE IN DEMAND FOR RESEARCH, REGULATION, AND ASSESSMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL RISKS. THERE IS A NEED FOR CURRENT MANPOWER INFORMATION FOR THIS PROFESSION.
