Abstract: THE PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF THE CONSUMER SURVEY IS TO SECURE DATA REGARDI MEDICAID ENROLLEE/NONENROLLEE HEALTH STATUS, HEALTH CARE UTILIZATION, ACCESS AND SATISFACTION WITH CARE, AND HEALTH HABITS. THE INFORMATION COLLECTED IN THE SURVEY WILL BE USED BY RESEARCH TRIANGLE TO EVALUATE THE ONGOING MEDICAID COMPETITION DEMONSTRATIONS. THE MEDICAID CONSUME SURVEY WILL BE CONDUCTED IN PERSONAL INTERVIEWS WITH DEMONSTRATION ENROLLEES AND A COMPARISON GROUP OF NONENROLLEES.
