Abstract: THE GSL AND PLUS PROGRSMS MAK LOANS AVAILABLE FOR POSTSECONDARY EDUCATION PURPOSES BY GUARANTEEING OR REINSURING LOANS MADE BY PRIVATE LENDERS. THE REGULATIONS ESTABLIS PROPER ADMINISTRATIVE STANDARDS AND PRACTICES WHICH PROTECT THE FEDERA FISCAL INTEREST AND STIPULATE AUDIT AND RECORDKEEPING REQUIREMENTS FOR GUARANTEE AGENCIES, LENDERS, AND SCHOOLS.
