Abstract: TO ENSURE THE SAFETY OF VESSELS, IT IS NECESSARY THAT THE USCG REVIEW PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS OF THE PORTABLE TANKS CONTAINING COMBUSTIBLE LIQUIDS SO AS TO ASCERTAIN THAT THEY ARE CAPABLE OF CONTAINING THE MATERIAL AND ABLE TO WITHSTAND THE RIGORS OF THE MARINE ENVIRONMENT.
