Department's request for an exemption from OMB paperwor clearance
under the provisions of 5 CFR 1320.7 (k) (1) is denied. Par 1320.7
(k) (1) provides that exceptions be granted "...provided that they
(the certifications, etc.) entail no burden other than necessary to
identify the respondent, the date, the respondent's address, and th
nature of the instrument." This request includes detailed
information about the product, including a description, the
container identificati number, number of cases or bulk packages,
number of bottles, total quantity in liters (by anhydrous and
hydrous status), and the length o time aged. This request clearly
requires more information than is required simply to identify the
product.
