THE RULES REQUIRE A PERMANENT CARE LABEL TO BE ATTACHED TO TEXTILE PRODUCTS FROM THE CLOTHING INDUSTRY WHICH "FULLY INFORMS" THE CONSUMER OF A CARE PROCEDURE. THE RULE EXPLAINS THE PROPER ELEMENTS OF A CARE INSTRUCTION, PROVIDES A GLOSSARY OF STANDARDIZED TERMS, AND SPECIFICALLY STATES THAT A REASONABLE BASIS FOR EACH INSTRUCTION IS NECESSARY.
