Abstract: THE SURVEY WILL DEFINE THE UNIVERSE OF BLACK MUSEUMS, THEIR PRESENT OPERATIONS, PROGRAMS AND COLLECTIONS AND THEIR NEEDS. RESPONDENTS WIL BE THE DIRECTORS OF THESE MUSEUMS. THE RESULTS WILL BE USED TO IDENTI PROBLEM AREAS AND TO HELP AAMA DESIGN MORE EFFECTIVE PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES TO DEAL WITH THESE AREAS.
