The
recordkeeping requirement associated with the Work Application is
approved through January 1987 to enable the Department to complete
its ESARS activities. Since DOL no longer requires States to
collect the information on the Work Application, OMB requests that
DOL initiate rulemaking by September 1, 1986, to eliminate this
recordkeeping requirement, found at 20 CFR 652.8(d)(5).
