Terms of Clearance: The "JTPA Semiannual Status Report, and Statewide Characteristics Summer (Title II-B) Report" package is approved through December 1988, with the following conditions: 1) DOL will require a semiannual reporting only of the expenditure data for the JSSR (sections I and II The participation and termination summary data (section III) will be reported only on an annual basis. DOL should submit revised reporting instructions that reflect this condition of clearance by 3/21/86, and 2) DOL may not require semiannual reporting until the final rule th changes the reporting frequency from annual to semiannual becomes effective.

Abstract: THE INFORMATION COLLECTED WILL BE USED TO SEMIANNUALLY ASSESS JTPA STATEWIDE PROGRAMS, AND LEARN WHO IS SERVED BY TITLE II-B SUMMER PROGRAMS. PARTICIPANT AND FINANCIAL DATA WILL BE USED TO RESPONDE TO CONGRESSIONAL OVERSIGHT, TO PREPARE BUDGET REQUEST BASED ON MORE CURRENT DATA, AND MAKE ANNUAL REPORTS TO CONGRESS PER STATUTE.
