DATA REPORT ON THE SEDS ARE USED TO COMPILE THE OFFICIAL U.S. EXPORT STATISTICS. THE NEW DATA ITEMS ARE BEING REQUIRED AT THE REQUEST OF DATA USERS. SECTIONS 301-307, CHAPTER 9, TITLE 13, UNITED STATES CODE, AUTHORIZE THE SECRETARY TO COLLECT EXPORT DATA.
