Abstract: 12 CFR 545.92 REQUIRES FEDERAL ASSOCIATIONS TO OBTAIN BOARD APPROVAL PRIOR TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A BRANCH OFFICE. A BRANCH OFFICE APPLICATION IS REVIEWED TO DETERMINE WHETHER THERE IS A BASIS FOR SUPERVISORY OBJECTION TO THE BRANCH AND WHETHER THE BRANCH PROPOSAL COMPLIES WITH REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS.
