12 CFR 545.92 REQUIRES FEDERAL
ASSOCIATIONS TO OBTAIN BOARD APPROVAL PRIOR TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF
A BRANCH OFFICE. A BRANCH OFFICE APPLICATION IS REVIEWED TO
DETERMINE WHETHER THERE IS A BASIS FOR SUPERVISORY OBJECTION TO THE
BRANCH AND WHETHER THE BRANCH PROPOSAL COMPLIES WITH REGULATORY
REQUIREMENTS. THE BOARD ALSO IS REQUIRED UND THE COMMUNITY
REINVESTMENT ACT OF 1978 TO TAKE AN APPLICANT'S COMMUNIT
