Abstract: EXPORTERS OF HAZARDOUS WASTE MUST NOTIFY ANY COUNTRIES THROUGH WHICH WASTES TRANSIT AND PREPARE AN ANNUAL REPORT SUMMARIZING DATA REGARDING THEIR WASTE EXPORTS. IN ADDITION EXPORTERS ARE REQUIRED TO PREPARE EXCEPTION REPORTS IF A COPY OF THE MANIFEST IS NOT RETURNED BY THE RECEIVING FACILITY AFTER A SPECIFIED PERIOD. THIS INFORMATION IS NEEDE TO IMPLEMENT PROVISIONS OF THE HAZARDOUS AND SOLID WASTE AMENDMENTS
