Abstract: SEC. 301 OF P.L. 99-198 MANDATES THAT THE SECRETARY OF AGRICULTURE CONDUCT A POLL OF WHEAT PRODUCERS TO DETERMINE WHETHER SUCH PRODUCERS FAVOR THE IMPOSITION OF MANDATORY LIMITS ON WHEAT PRODUCTION THAT WILL RESULT IN WHEAT PRICES NOT LOWER THAN 125 PERCENT OF THE COST OF PRODUCTION.
