Abstract: OWNERS/OPERATORS OF NEW BOILERS LARGER THAN 29 MW KEEP RECORDS, MONITOR CAPACITY AND NITROGEN OXIDES, AND REPORT EXCESS EMISSIONS TO EPA. THE AGENCY USES THIS INFORMATION TO DETERMINE NEW SOURCES SUBJEC TO THE STANDARD, TO ENSURE USE OF THE BEST DEMONSTRATED TECHNOLOGICAL SYSTEM OF CONTINUOUS EMISSION REDUCTION, AND TO ENSURE COMPLIANCE WITH THE STANDARD.
