Abstract: FEMA HAS FUNDED SINCE 1981 A NATIONAL APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM FOR FIREFIGHTERS, FIRE MEDICS, EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIANS, AND PARAMEDI THROUGH IAFF/IAFC. THE QUESTIONNAIRES ARE NEEDED TO ASSIST IN THIS FIRST EVALUATION OF THE PROGRAM AND WILL BE USED TO SOLICIT INPUT FROM APPROXIMATELY 3,000 FIREFIGHTERS.
