Abstract: STUDIES OF WORKERS EXPOSED TO KNOWN OR SUSPECTED CARCINOGENS ARE OF PARTICULAR PUBLIC HEALTH IMPORTANCE. THIS STUDY PRESENTS A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO EVALUATE THE RISK OF ACRYLONITRILE-INDUCED CANCER WHILE CONTROLLING FOR THE EFFECTS OF SMOKING IN A LARGE, WELL-DEFINED, EXPOSED POPULATION.
