Abstract: SECTION 1622 OF P.L. 99-145 ENACTED NOVEMBER 8, 1985, PROVIDES THAT PERSONS WHO FAIL TO REGISTER AS REQUIRED UNDER THE SELECTIVE SERVICE LAW ARE INELIGIBLE FOR FEDERAL APPOINTMENT.
