The "National
Longitudinal Surveys - Survey of Work Experience of Young Women" is
approved through December 1987 and has been assigned a new OMB
control number, per DOL's request.It is OMB's understanding that
ETA is transferring responsibility for the National Longitudinal
Surveys to DOL's Bureau of Labor Statistics. Thus, the next request
for OMB approval of this survey must be submitted by BLS and must
include a thorough justification of how the survey will meet
specific BLS objectives.

INFORMATION TO DETERMINE THE EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING NEEDS AND
DEVELOPM LABOR MARKET POLICIES DESIGNED TO EASE THE EMPLOYMENT AND
UNEMPLOYMENT PROBLEMS FACED BY WOMEN 33-43. THESE WOMEN WERE 14-24
YEARS OF AGE WHEN THIS LOGITUDINAL SURVEY BEGAN IN 1968.
