Abstract: IRS REQUIRES THE SUBMISSION OF FSC ELECTIONS AND REVOCATIONS TO IRS AND THE MAINTENANCE OF CERTAIN RECORDS AT A FSC OFFICE IN A U.S. POSSESSION OR A FOREIGN COUNTRY AND AT A LOCATION IN THE U.S. BECAUSE SECTION 922 REQUIRES AN ELECTION AND RECORDKEEPING AS CONDITIONS OF QUALIFYING FOR FSC BENEFITS. THE PERSONS AFFECTED ARE CORPORATIONS WHO WANT TO QUALIFY TO EXEMPT A PORTION OF THEIR INCOME FROM FEDERAL INCOME TAX.
