Abstract: THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY IS CONDUCTING A SURVEY OF INDUSTRI ESTABLISHMENTS TO IDENTIFY SUBTITLE D FACILITIES (LANDFILLS, SURFACE IMPOUNDMENTS, LAND APPLICATION UNITS AND WASTE PILES), AND TO GATHER PRELIMINARY INFORMATION FOR A REPORT TO CONGRESS ON THE ADEQUACY OF THE CURRENT SUBTITLE D CRITERIA IN PROTECTING HUMAN HEALTH AND THE ENVIRONMENT.
