THE SEMIANNUAL FINANCIAL AND
STATISTICAL REPORTS PROVIDE FINANCIAL INFORMATION ON CREDIT UNIONS
NECESSARY FOR SUPERVISORY PURPOSES, INTERNAL MANAGEMENT, POLICY AND
REGULATORY DECISIONS AND RESEARCH, AND IT IS THE BASIS FOR
PREPARING NCUA'S LEGALLY MANDATED ANNUAL REPORT. THE REPORTS ALSO
PROVIDE IMPORTANT FEEDBACK TO CREDIT UNION OFFICIALS.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
